"For years, we have been skeptical of hoof
dressings that claim to improve horses' hooves but appear to
have little effect - we've often joked about hoof dressings making
the OWNERS feel better. Since trying Bob Schaeffing's Perfected
Hoof Care hoof dressing, we now recommend it to any horse
owner for regular use. We have used this hoof dressing
since 1993 on many horses for many different problems, and
have tested its effect by discontinuing its use and observing
the resulting changes in the feet. We have found that,
when used according to the instructions provided, Perfected Hoof
Care thickens and strengthens the hoof wall, encourages growth,
and improves the pliability and quality of the hoof reducing
flaking, chipping and cracking. We now use it regularly
and exclusively on all our horses, and require that it be used
for any horse brought to us for training. It's a pleasure
